Sacred Rituals and Resistance in the Amazon
We discuss the importance of sacred rituals and how it has helped indigenous communities not only resist the violence and racism they receive on a daily basis, but to become an even stronger community, a community that thrives as a collective.
We find out how the sacred plant medicine ayahuasca, can pass down the knowledge of previous generations in a community where there is no written language. Through rituals and altered states they keep their culture and wisdom alive.
